About This Project
Vision
To make the Holy Bible available
Project Overview
The goal of the Filipino Children’s Bible Project (FCBP) is to produce materials for children for learning the Holy Bible, worshiping the Lord and encouragement in their faith. The content in all materials is entirely based on the actual text of the Holy Bible, sourced from Bible translations in Filipino languages.
We aim to bring this vision to fruition through producing and distributing new resources, as well sourcing and distributing good quality existing resources that are based on the Bible text, as per our vision.
Some types of resources include:
Print Bibles – Full Bibles and individual Bible books/Bible portions
E-Bibles – Full Bibles and individual Bible books/Bible portions (Designed for children)
Audio Bibles – Full Bibles and individual Bible books/Bible portions (Especially audio Bible recorded by children, for children)
Bible songbooks and musical recordings – Christian songs/hymns that use only the Bible text
Resources for teaching children Bible verses
Audiovisual media with Bible verses
Bible orientated prints such as posters, tarpaulins, t-shirts, etc.
And more…
Through our main website, sub sites and social media, most resources can be accessed for free, to view, listen, download and print. We also have designed our site so it is easy for people to share different resources with others. Soon, we will be launching an online shop on our website that will sell resources that are not available for free (eg. Print Bibles), though we will make every effort to keep all prices as low as possible. All in all, we are aiming to make the Bible easily accessible to anyone, anywhere in the Philippines and for Filipinos living in different countries worldwide.
FCBP itself is not an organization but rather an initiative of lay Christian people, both Filipino and non-Filipino, whose heart is moved to share the Word of God. Our desire is to publish the Bible in all Filipino languages, amongst all Filipino children and youth everywhere, to give them the knowledge of the Bible in their own heart language.
Our hope is that every child and young person will hear the Words of the Living God and His call to each of them to repent and put their trust in His Son Jesus Christ for their salvation!
Doctrine Statement
We Believe….
- In one God: eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
- The Bible to be inspired, infallible and authoritative Word of God, without error in the original languages and our only rule for life and practice.
- In the deity and virgin birth of Christ; in His sinless life, His perfect righteousness, His miracles, His vicarious and atoning death; His resurrection, ascension and imminent return.
- That for the salvation of the lost and sinful people, regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential, and that this salvation is wholly of grace through faith in the atoning death of the Son of God.
- In the present ministry of the Holy Spirit, by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to lead a Godly life.
- That the church consists of all who trust in Christ and are true believers in His atoning death.

We want to give thanks to all those who have laboured and who are labouring even now to translate the Holy Scriptures into Filipino languages. Without your labour we would not be able to do what we are now doing. May God bless you and be with you in this invaluable work.
